About Roomstay.io

We build modern, scalable web products used by hotels and property managers globally, with a strong focus on performance, UX, and conversion.
We’re now looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer – Tech Lead to take ownership of our web platform, guide technical direction, and help us scale both the product and the team 🚀
About the Role
As a Senior Full Stack Developer – Tech Lead, you’ll work hands-on across the full stack while acting as a technical leader for the team. Work closely with product, design, and business teams to deliver well-aligned solutions
Own code quality, reviews, and long-term technical health of the platform
Drive implementation of the product development roadmap
Manage stakeholder expectations on timing and deliverables
Required Skills & Experience
Proven full-stack development experience (frontend + backend integrations)
High-level programming skills transferable to Typescript/JavaScript, SCSS/CSS, React, and SQL
Excellent knowledge of Node and Next.js platforms
Solid understanding of microservice architecture
Experience leading or mentoring developers in a production environment
Understanding of Git source control flows and CI/CD pipelines
Comfortable working remotely with clear communication and an ownership mindset
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Familiarity with AWS services, particularly Lambda, RDS, CloudFront, and S3
Experience using Jira or similar project management tools
Experience with TypeORM or similar ORM libraries
Familiarity with payments and payment gateway integrations
Background in high-traffic or conversion-focused platforms (e.g. e-commerce, booking engines, SaaS)
Awareness of AI/ML trends and technologies, including how AI can enhance platform functionality or user experience
